Tuesday: Post makes EVERYTHING better.

Tuesday ... ooh! I went to an Irish pub in Montmartre with the guys from work (three of whom were dutch) to watch the Holland - Uruguay match. It was crammed with Dutch people all dressed in orange and all getting very excited indeed, which was great fun! I also got to speak Spanish with a girl from Mexico at work (I got it SO muddled with French though - it was really difficult!) and her accent is just so delightfully, comfortingly Mexican - it's just wonderful and I could listen to her talk all day long! She's from Mexico City and actually when I was talking to her today she said it is hotter here than over there! I am too hot. Though I am aware I complain about it perhaps a little too often. Oh and also on Tuesday homesickness started to set in but there was a letter from Mum and a card from Gragry (in a blue envelope, with rose petals!) when I came in and they made me feel very happy indeed.
